One Last Scare

about me

My name is Kieran Masterton and I love horror movies, horror directors and horror poster art. I am a PhD student in the field of film theory and specialise in the slasher sub-genre and alternative methods of distribution. The content I curate on this blog is a collection of inspiration for an upcoming project I am working on entitled, One Last Scare.

  2. Brilliant audience reaction audio from a 1979 screening of John Carpenters Halloween. There’s a few sync problems but you can really get a sense of what it was like to watch it for the first time.

  3. Haha!

“I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy’s eyes was purely and simply… evil.”

  4. The incredibly popular Halloween poster by Shaun Watson that I posted a few weeks back is now available to purchase via Shaun’s tumblr. The poster is only £9.99 so go buy it and support this artist!

Please note, this poster is not for sale through Slashtastic, I am simply supporting the artist by reblogging. All purchase queries should be directed to the Emporium of the Strange and Unusual.

‘Halloween Poster’ designed by Shaun @ Emporium of the Strange and Unusual.

This is a poster print of my original Halloween Poster which I designed to give that vintage ‘grind-house’ look. You will not find this design anywhere else!

This poster will professionally printed on quality 12 x…

  8. This poster for John Carpenter’s 1978 classic slasher Halloween is seriously different to anything else I’ve seen produced for this film, I really like it.

  9. Absolutely brilliant take on John Carpenters 1978 seminal slasher flick Halloween. I absolutely love what Shaun Watson over on Deviant Art has done with this poster. Got an element of that grindhouse grudge and some of the most iconic stills from one of my favourite films of all time. Right, I’ve gushed enough, I’ll leave you to enjoy the artwork.
