My name is Kieran Masterton and I love horror movies, horror directors and horror poster art. I am a PhD student in the field of film theory and specialise in the slasher sub-genre and alternative methods of distribution. The content I curate on this blog is a collection of inspiration for an upcoming project I am working on entitled, One Last Scare.

  6. Brilliant audience reaction audio from a 1979 screening of John Carpenters Halloween. There’s a few sync problems but you can really get a sense of what it was like to watch it for the first time.

  8. I remember watching this cheesy 70s horror movie on Channel 5 only a few weeks after the channel launched in the UK. I must of been all of 15 and it scared the crap outta me… Now, the poster just reminds me of the Grateful Dead. Squirm (1977) directed by Jeff Lieberman.
